Giving.

Everything that we do at Saint Wilfrid Church is made possible by your giving, thank you.

We have a number of ways in which you can direct your giving, and a number of ways in which you can give.

Ministry & Mission Fund.

This includes our Sunday services, work with children, youth and students, our teams, our social action programmes, and Alpha.

None of this would be possible without those who pray, serve and give to the work of the church.

Big or small, every gift you give helps transform lives.

Our foodbank is run by local people for local people – we rely on the community’s support to ensure we can continue to stop people going hungry. Can you invest in the future of our project and help us provide much-needed support to people in crisis in our community?

You can give a one-off donation of £10, £20 or £50, or set up a regular donation into our CAF account by clicking here.

Many employers offer Payroll Giving which allows you to give directly to Saint Wilfrid from your salary before tax is deducted. This means if you give £100 per month and are a basic rate taxpayer, the gift will only cost you £80 from your net pay. If you pay a higher rate of tax, £100 a month will only cost you £60 from your net pay. To find out if your employer offers Payroll Giving, contact your HR office.

You may wish to give to Saint Wilfrid via a charitable aid agency such as StewardshipCAFCharities Trust, or Charitable Giving. These agencies are useful for those who give to multiple charities and wish to have their giving recorded in one place or for those who wish to give anonymously to Saint Wilfrid.

Many employers offer matched giving schemes. In most cases, the company will match your donation pound-for-pound up to a specific amount; a handful of organisations will even double your gift. You can download a list of companies here that we understand currently match gifts donated by their employees. This list is not definitive, and many more companies may also offer this option.

If your employer is not listed, please contact the Human Resources or Social Responsibility Office at your workplace to find out if they operate a matched giving scheme.

Some employers may not match giving for religious purposes, though most will match gifts to social transformation ministries. If you require advice on how to use matched giving, or need help allocating your giving for match giving purposes, please contact the Treasurer by clicking here.
